THE CREATURE + STRETCH OUT AND WAIT + Jams Recs
Hope everyone's doing fine. I've been trying to solve some personal situations, and that got me to take more time to get to publish my games.
But here I am! Sending this cause I've released 2 games!
The Creature is a solo journaling ttrpg in which you explore the vicissitudes of a life that you can't understand, of being a creation of some sort that was abandoned. It's your job to learn about yourself and the world that surrounds you, as well as discover who your creator was and why you were discarded. Inspired by Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley, and The Orphan, both the playbook and the threat from The Between, by Jason Cordova, The Creature dwells on existential dread, loneliness, abandonment, death, society mandates, loneliness, self-reflection, and human experimentation.
Some cool stuff about the game:
the game uses tracks and to be able to create your character you need to reach a certain amount of segments in all of those, but when you start playing you have no idea who you are.
you can use a coin to answer yes/no questions to get a more randomize flavor
you get to use a cool victorian slang section I made for it
the original art pieces were all done by Perplexing Ruins through his Patreon.
It has exclusive questions for each ending according to what took you to finish the game.
You can get the game here and if you were a Patron for at least 3 USD per month you could get this one, and all my games, included on your subscription. I'm super proud of this one!
Stretch Out And Wait is a lyric game about trying to sleep. A breathing exercise and a creative experience. When I was a child my dad used to tell me all of these things and made me fall asleep without me even noticing. I made a simple and minimalistic layout, with a lot of breathing space.
A tender bedtime game. All my Patrons get this one!
Some Jams Recommendations!
Mushroom Jam is a celebration of all things fungi related, such as Mushrooms, Slime Molds, and Lichen! It will run from September 1st to November 30th. The jam will accept all completed projects of any sort!
Death And The Internet Jam is for creating physical games or video games featuring, about or based around dead things on the Internet. This jam came about as an idea to commemorate the end of Internet Explorer which was officially retired on June 15, 2022. As the Internet progresses, the memories we keep on it can disappear at any moment unless we try to preserve them.
Dash Jam is to celebrate the release of Dash, and the 1 year anniversary of Charge, a condensed and simple system for action-packed adventures based on the strong roots laid down by Forged in the Dark system.
