Xenoarcheology + recommendations
I published Xenoarcheology in its ashcan version less than a week ago. In 3 days, the main stretch goals were covered: layout, more sci-fi and rules by Misha Panarin, an introduction to Astrobiology by Theta Chun, a (fake) document about excavation guidance by Andreas Puhl, a bonus track: a playlist made by Sam Leigh.
If you haven't heard about Xenoarcheology, it's my last solo ttrpg: you're a xenoarcheologist who has to excavate to build up a theory on why the species were living on a planet isn't there anymore. The main mechanic of the game is Pyramid Solitaire.
You can check out more on its itch io page!!!
My recommendations of other designers' content:
Check out Eller's It's Lunch Time, a solo game that uses dice and in which you play as a seagull... caw caw!
Get René-Pier's Hopes and Dreams, a game inspired by Overwatch and Arcane, with fantastic playbooks and group mechanics.
You can't miss Planetary Loop by Kay, a solo game about exploring planets and breaking the loop. Outer Wilds heavily inspire it.
Peep Misha Panarin's new content for Blades In The Dark, Urchins, a superb supplement to get a BitD little by little, ideal for soaking up into the system.
Some other designers' projects I'm working on:
Get Moriah by Kyle Tam! I'm doing the layout for it. An amazing game in which you need to sacrifice parts of your party or your body to get bigger dice.
Check out Banda's Grove by Pandion Games. I've been writing the festivals for it, and now I'm working on the solo rules! A fantastic cozy game about quantum divergences and camping.
Article recommendation: Check out this article about setting rates while working on ttrpg by Matt Sanders.
I hope you find this entertaining and exciting.
